Employer is leading Offshore & Onshore Energy services company for their HVAC division, Middle East representative of reputed British manufacturer of specialised HVAC systems and chillers.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design HVAC systems tailored for Onshore & Offshore platforms, Living quarters ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety standards applicable to hazardous and safe area.
  • Conduct thermal load calculations and simulations to optimize system performance in harsh marine environments.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate HVAC designs with structural and electrical systems seamlessly.
  • Prepare detailed design documentation, including specifications, drawings, and equipment lists for offshore and onshore installation.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate materials and equipment that withstand corrosive offshore conditions.
  • Perform site assessments and feasibility studies to determine HVAC requirements for new offshore projects replacement projects.
  • Provide technical support during installation and commissioning phases, ensuring adherence to design intent.
  • Develop maintenance strategies and guidelines for long-term efficiency and reliability of HVAC systems.
  • Stay updated with evolving offshore HVAC technologies and industry best practices to drive innovation.
  • Lead design reviews and present findings to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, with a specialization in HVAC systems.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC design and project engineering, particularly for offshore or marine applications.
  • Professional certification, such as ASHRAE or LEED, demonstrating expertise in HVAC principles.
  • Experience with design software like AutoCAD and Revit, specifically for HVAC modelling.
  • Proven track record of managing design projects from concept to execution in an offshore setting.
  • Strong understanding of offshore safety standards and environmental regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to work in high-pressure environments and adapt to changing project requirements swiftly.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve design challenges efficiently.
  • Physical fitness to work offshore and navigate confined spaces as necessary during site assessments.

Be the front-line seller who drives sales to meet targets, identifying and generating opportunities for Instrumentation Products and Systems for different kinds of customers like: Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Marine, Water, Energy & Power, HVAC, Refrigeration etc.

You will foster client satisfaction by maintaining regular customer contact and managing customer expectations. You will develop customer relationships through coordinating and/or customer visits, attending trade shows, seminar, and similar events. You will maintain and provide reports and opportunity status using our customer relationship management system. You will provide competitive intelligence and market trends.

  • Drive business growth by discovering new opportunities, clients, and customers.

You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical.
  • Significant selling experience within Field Instruments, Analytical & Automation systems, Purge & Pressurization, HVAC, PA,F&G systems.
  • Commendable knowledge and expertise in Hazardous area classifications and application for Instruments, Analyzers and Systems.
  • Proven success within a sales position generating new business.

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide Installation & Commissioning, Calibration, Warranty, AMC service support to customers for the product and systems sold by company and customer’s third-party installations. 50% of time will be utilized to attend service jobs and balance for generation of sales leads associated with service function. The Procurement Engineer position is to function as team member of projects team. Responsible for efficient coordination and performance of procurement functions for a diverse range of materials and services for the company.

To ensure all functions and situations are handled prudently, efficiently and in a professional manner to ensure that the quality, quantity and timely delivery of materials and services are in the best interest to the company; according to applicable corporate and state laws and regulations following the department's procedures and policies.

Key Accountabilities

  • Preparation, presentation, update and maintenance of all required purchasing progress reports, material status and delivery expediting reports associated with purchasing.
  • Close monitoring of the inventory levels of the materials maintained under Material Requirements Planning (MRP) with immediate actions towards deliveries for efficient stock replenishment as per operations demands.
  • Follow-up on orders to ensure that the required materials are shipped and delivered on the date promised by the supplier.
  • Ensure full assistance to the senior team members in arrangements, reporting, coordination for tendering and awarding contracts, call off agreements, outline agreement generation for all repetitive and periodical purchases as per the policies of the section/ department.
  • Performance of all purchases ensuring full conformance with established policies.
  • Maintenance of contractors and vendors data with manpower and equipment records.
  • Maintenance of technical document package such as Technical datasheets, drawings, Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS), catalogues, Chain of Custody (COC), Material Traceability (MTC), etc.) against each material purchases.
  • Conduct value and ageing analysis of the purchased products to improve efficiency.
  • Effective coordination with the vendors, end users, and the logistics staff to ensure on-time deliveries of the material and services.
  • Coordination with the shortlisted bidder to ensure completion of all administrative processes and submission of all contract documents.
  • Coordination with the Vendors Master data maintenance team for the registration and maintenance of vendors records.
  • Seek opportunities for consolidation and assisting in setting bulk ordering schedules by establishing and managing supply agreements which are directed towards reduction of overall acquisition and inventory cost.
  • Maintain accurate and appropriate documental records as per the guidelines to ensure that the procurement process and the contractual agreements are precisely documented for accountability and audit trail purposes.
  • Ensure efficient expediting of any urgent/emergency purchase orders or purchase requests as required.

Accountabilities

  • Monitor the performance and generating vendor evaluation reports of the suppliers and contractors.
  • Provide updated reports and support to the end users in case of any dispute on price, delivery and quality.
  • Carry out any other duties as directed by the immediate supervisor.
  • Adhere to all relevant QHSSE policies, procedures, instructions, and controls.
  • Follow all relevant departmental policies and procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  • The incumbent must be adept in decision making and maintaining quality control as well as handling problems.
  • Tracking of the Purchase Order at each stage of supply, Goods Receipt Note (GRN/IRN) posting, and ensures the close-out till the vendor gets the payment as per agreed timeline.
  • The procurement coordinator will be responsible for administration of procurements documents.
  • Regular monitoring towards suppliers and sections emails, orders acknowledgements, production and delivery status, and towards price discrepancies/increases, supply lead times, and taking corrective action as necessary
  • Ensure that the company is getting quality materials and services on time at the best cost in all situations.
  • Prepare, Maintain and update all documental (hard and soft) archives, to ensure organized records management for ready reference all the times.

This position is based in Qatar and travelling internationally as required.

Qualifications
